Square Knot

The square knot is probably the most used in macrame. It is usually created with three to six cords but are not limited to that and at times more cords are required.
I recommend practicing with spare cords to you can get used to the steps and establish your own routine. It this tutorial I am using 6 cords.
The two cords on the left and right are called knotting cords and the center ones are the anchor cords.
