Vegan Food Myth: It is too expensive to become vegan
Vegan food ingredients are not expensive or boring. My grocery bill has gone down, not up. We have been discovering a lot of great recipes to add to our meals. My hours in the kitchen are not going up but they are becoming more enjoyable as I learn different ingredients that yield great tastes and fun flavors.
This is the year of the vegan and if you are planning on making the healthy decision to eat plant based meals then now is the time to jump on board.
So many people have forged a path to make a vegan meal plan enjoyable. I have a lot of great cookbooks that make saving money while eating vegan possible. I love that I am seeing so many young people making the choice of cruelty free eating and paying attention to their health. My 16 year old granddaughter is one of them and I had not heard of the word vegan let alone decide to be one when I was 16. I am proud of her empathy towards animals and commitment to her health.
Liv B’s Vegan On A Budget 112 Inspired & Effortless Plant Based Recipes by Olivia Biermann is a great book to get you started on a vegan path or will lighten your load in the kitchen. I received this book to review in exchange for my honest opinion.
The beauty of this book are all the wonderful recipes which prove that:
Vegan food is not boring, expensive or time consuming.
I feel this book would be a welcome addition to anyone’s cookbook shelf.
New vegans will find flavorful recipes that will set their mind at ease knowing the ingredients are available locally while not breaking the bank. Also they will welcome the new tastes and fun flavors these recipes produce.
Experienced vegans will find a new way of fixing some of their favorite recipes with less fuss while taste is not sacrificed.
This book meets you where you are and gets you to where you want to go
